Estate maintenance

There are many tasks and skills required to keep farms and estates in good working order. Our courses aim to provide or refresh these skills to allow operators to work in a safe and efficient manner. By following correct health and safety procedures, workers can contribute to safe working conditions for themselves and others.

Small machine training includes brushcutter and hand-held hedge trimmer. These courses teach the worker to operate safely and with confidence. By understanding the risks, the need for the correct protective clothing becomes clear.  

Our courses include practical, hands-on training and assessment, so you will receive a certificate of competence on successful completion.

And we can also provide other skills training such as basic welding, abrasive wheels, using chainsaws and woodchippers. These courses cover use, maintenance and compliance with relevant Health & Safety Legislation.

Courses vary in duration and can be arranged for groups at your venue or you can opt to join a scheduled course elsewhere.
