Experienced GFW required to join a dedicated team on farm near Duns.
Must be motivated, diligent, and reliable. Duties will include day-to-day stock work and tractor work, with every 3rd weekend on.
The farm has a pig enterprise with 350 sows and is looking to expand arable contracting business in SE Scotland. Stock experience would be an advantage whilst with pig not essential as pig training will be applied on farm.

Cefetra is looking for a Maintenance Engineer required for its busy grain store based in Ormiston.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all mechanical systems within the grain processing facility. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and implementing effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. The maintenance program will cover a variety of grain handling equipment including bucket elevators, conveyors and grain cleaners.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the grain processing or agricultural sector
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in grain handling and processing
• Fabrication experience with a competency in mig and mma welding
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to work in a grain processing environment, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
• Capability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Candidate will also be required to carry out store operations during harvest period and other high work volume periods. This includes loading shovel operation, grain drying, store upkeep
Looking for someone with gardening/plant experience.
Ideally they would have PA1 and PA6 spraying tickets as well as chainsaw and hedgecutter experience.
Must be practical.
Hours would be 2 or 3 days per week but could consider 5 days (shared with other company).
