DRONE COMPANY AIMS TO HELP FARMERS IN SCOTLAND
A drone spraying and spreading service is being launched that the owner claims is both unique and innovative and the first of its kind in Scotland.
Sky-Pin Drones is focusing on providing organic and sustainable solutions that are tailored to support environmentally conscious farming including aerial data and collection services. The company will also be offering pesticide applications in the near future.
James Braid, managing director of Sky-Pin Drones, is currently offering demonstrations to interested businesses: “I am launching a non-contact washing service for glasshouses, roofing and polytunnels using drone technology to prevent damage and maintain structural integrity. This includes solar panel cleaning so if any farmers would like a demonstration, please feel free to reach out – I’d be happy to set one up.”
