BMR SUPPORTS PICK-UPS FOR PEACE AT THE BORDER UNION SHOW
At this year’s Border Union Show, BMR will be taking the opportunity to show its support for the Pick-ups for Peace (P4P) charity.
BMR will be displaying its own pick-up that it’s hoping to fill with supplies and then join a convoy heading to Ukraine, where these vehicles are urgently needed.
To date P4P has taken almost 400 vehicles, ambulances and quad bikes to Ukraine, loaded with aid to support those most in need. BMR wants to support the cause and to help raise the funds. The co-operative has set up a Just Giving page so that anyone can donate… just click on the QR code below.
Vehicles are sent to Ukraine, loaded with useful items such as ratchet strap, jump leads, spare tyres, generators, chainsaws, first aid kits, clothing and many more (a full list can be found on the P4P website).
Visit the Border Union Show at Springwood Park, Kelso on 26 and 27 July to see the BMR pick-up and examples of the sort of equipment is required to fill the truck. But if you can’t make it to the show you can always make your contribution through the BMR Just Giving page.
